Thank you for your interest in volunteering for CHILDLINE India Foundation (CIF). The CHILDLINE service anchored by CIF, is a 24x7, emergency, free phone outreach service linking children in need of help and protection to organisations run by government departments as well as those run by civil society agencies.
CIF is always looking for dedicated volunteers to join us in realizing our vision of 'a child friendly nation that guarantees the rights and protection of all children' and to takes its obligation to protect the rights of children and children in distress very seriously.
CIF is supported by nodal agency of the Union Ministry of Women and Child Development (MWCD) acting as the parent organisation for setting up, managing and monitoring the CHILDLINE 1098 service all over the country. CIF is structured into 4 departments namely Services, Finance and Administration, Communications and Strategic Initiatives, Resource Mobilisation.
CIF welcomes volunteers to work in various departments, including Services, Accounts, and Communications. CIF is the sole agency/body responsible for establishing the CHILDLINE service in the cities/districts of the country, monitoring of service delivery and finance, training, research and documentation, creating awareness, advocacy as well as resource generation for the service.
